Deleting Users

Managing user accounts in MyPC Cloud includes the ability to delete users when necessary. This feature helps maintain accurate records and supports compliance with data protection regulations such as GDPR. Depending on the user’s booking history, you can choose to completely remove their data by anonymising it or preserve usage statistics.

  • If the user has never made or attended a booking:
     They will be completely removed from the system.
  • If the user has made or attended bookings:
     When deleting the user, you will be given two options:
    • Keep data – Keep the user’s booking history and usage associated with their account.
    • Anonymise Data – Remove personal details and allocate the usage to an anonymous user.

 

Anonymising data helps meet relevant privacy and data protection requirements.

*Please note that once the data has been anonymised, it cannot be restored to its original state.
