Configure the masking options

  • You can choose to mask the leading characters, trailing characters, or a combination of both.

For example, you can show only the last 3 characters of the username.

  • The filler character is used to mask the username. If using MyPC Cloud users (emailaddresses), you can optionally show the domain and mask the username.

Example

  • If the username is "john.doe@example.com" and you choose to show the last 3 characters, it will appear as "*****doe@example.com" on the client. In the screens below we show the masking for a username of x1234567890
  • If the user joins the queue, the Queue Monitor will display the masked username accordingly.
